Allan Sayegh

Allan Sayegh is the Program Manager for SHAW TV Manitoba. Sayegh has worked in the world of Community Television for the majority of his career. Sayegh is promoting the virtual race by advertising it on the Shaw Cable Network and is virtually running in support of research for Parkinson's Disease.

Parkinson's is a devastating disease and one of the most common nervous system disorders of the elderly. It often develops after the age of 50, but can affect young people if the disease runs in the family.

However, there is some hope. IMRIC and the University of Toronto are leading the way in the exploration of new techniques to treat Parkinson's. It is their hope that one day ways to prevent the disease will be found.
